Last week I visited Six Apart Headquarters in SF. It was way cool to meet the Design Team and see the place where the magic happens. After touring the office, Michael Sippey, Harold Check (of TypePad Featured Blogs), and I went out to lunch at a nearby Thai place. I'll have to ask them the name of the place, because it was the best Thai food I've ever had. Update: the restaurant was Koh Samui and the Monkey. Worth a trip to SF all by itself.
We talked about some of the things they're working on for the future, my plans for TypePad Hacks, and ideas about how to improve the user experience for TypePad bloggers. It was great to connect in person with people I've known a long time online… I kinda feel like it's a lot easier to toss ideas back and forth over a lunch table than via IM, but maybe that's just 'cause I type slow ;-). We really hit it off and found that we have a lot of the same ideas. I'm looking forward to be sharing some of what we talked about here in the near future.
