Shopify Is Coming Soon

Okay, I'm geeked… I just got an invite recently to beta test Shopify, the closest thing going to my idea of what a blog store should be. Go check them out and take a look at their blog as well.

The only problem I foresee is that I've sold so many fire bowls over my art blog this week that I'm going to be in the studio way more than at the keyboard for a while. So it's likely that a full-on review of shopify will take some time. It sounds like they're pretty close to full launch, so by the time I publish a full review, you may be able to get your own Shopify storefront.

I'm definitely digging on what I've seen so far, though.

To be honest, considering how much the art is selling on my regular blog with nothing but PayPal buttons, I'm almost scared to launch a new storefront! But, it's always tempting to play with something new, and the moreso when it might lead to cash.
